Castration Female Ferret?
Hi, I have a female ferret that is 12weeks now, and I want to know if I should get castrated. I do not want to breed with her, but I've heard that they get sick or even die, if it can not be neutered. is that true? If so, I want to Spay, but want to know when. I want them to reach maturity, first so as 6mnths of age (Simular to dogs / cats). Is that ok? or should it sooner? thanks for UR CONTRIBUTION
Do you have it from a pet store? If so, I call the store and check whether it has already been neutered. Most pet stores get their Ferrets ferrets from mass breeders (as Marshall), the castration of her baby ferrets, pet shops before selling them.
